So you’ve mastered dives to 45 meters, and you’re ready to go even further? Then it’s time to level up with the PADI TecRec 50 Course in Eilat—your next step into the deep world of technical diving.

Tec 50 builds on everything you learned in Tec 45—but takes it to the next level, both mentally and physically. This is where we push the boundaries of your skills, endurance, and focus.

At 50 meters, we don’t just stay longer and go deeper. We carry more tanks, manage more gas mixes, and plan for longer decompression obligations. This dive requires an even higher level of discipline and preparation.

Beyond all the challenges you faced at 45 meters, Tec 50 introduces a serious new factor: nitrogen narcosis. While it may be subtle at 45m, at 50m it becomes a real challenge—like a strong punch to your focus and decision-making. That’s why we place even greater emphasis on mental clarity, simplicity, and precise execution.

In Tec 45, you were introduced to the KISS principle—Keep It Super Simple. In Tec 50, we take that concept and reinforce it with hard numbers and real consequences. There’s no room for guessing. Every plan, every action, and every response must be clean, practiced, and deliberate.

As always, the course begins with in-depth theory, covering advanced decompression planning, extended gas management, deeper dive planning, and complex emergency procedures. You’ll create detailed dive plans—Plan A, Plan B, and a rock-solid contingency—using decompression software and run-time tables.

Your sidemount or backmount configuration will be fine-tuned even further for maximum efficiency and comfort. With additional stage tanks and complex dive profiles, your gear setup needs to be not only functional, but perfectly balanced and familiar.

The in-water training gets more demanding: all skills must be performed neutrally buoyant, without touching the bottom or surfacing, in full control of your position and equipment. We continue to sharpen your buoyancy, trim, and situational awareness with even tighter precision.

And most importantly—we train you to stay calm, think clearly, and act with purpose, even when narcosis hits and things get tough. By the end of the course, you’ll be capable of completing true deep decompression dives to 50 meters, with full confidence in your skills, gear, and mindset.

And here’s a bonus—upon completion of the TecRec 50 course, you will be certified to use Nitrox up to 100% for your dives, giving you an advanced edge in your gas management and decompression strategies.
