Deep Diver Specialty: Go Beyond the Limits and Explore the Depths!

Are you ready to push your diving limits and explore the deep blue? In the PADI Deep Diver Specialty, you will learn the skills to dive safely to depths beyond 18 meters (60 feet), all the way to 40 meters (130 feet), where new underwater worlds are waiting to be discovered.

In this course, you’ll learn how to safely plan and execute deep dives, including managing the risks associated with diving at greater depths. You’ll learn about:

• Planning deep dives: How to map out your dive, check air consumption, and calculate your no-decompression limits. Take your Deep Diver in Eilat and discover incredible underwater formations and marine life unique to the Red Sea.

• Managing risks: Understand the effects of nitrogen narcosis and how to keep calm in deeper waters.

• Using the right gear: How to use specialized equipment like larger tanks and depth gauges to make your deep dives smooth and safe.

• Safety procedures: Dive confidently knowing what to do if you run low on air or need to ascend in an emergency.

One of the highlights of the course is practicing safe ascents, with a strong focus on slow and controlled ascents to prevent issues like decompression sickness. You’ll get hands-on experience during your four deep dives, where you’ll explore new depths, learn to navigate, and develop confidence in your skills.

By the end of the course, you’ll be ready to dive deeper and tackle more challenging sites with a clear understanding of the safety and technical aspects that make deep diving both exhilarating and safe.
