Why we charge ₪450 and others charge ₪199
Several dive centers in Eilat advertise a “try dive from ₪199” — but it’s not the same product. Our biggest advantage: one certified PADI instructor takes up to 4 divers at once — you still get personal attention, and the price per person drops sharply:

- 2 divers — ₪800 (₪400 each)
- 3 divers — ₪1,110 (₪370 each)
- 4 divers — ₪1,440 (₪360 each — cheaper than a “₪199 dip” once you factor in the 3 hours and PADI card)

₪450 is the price of a real course, not a 20-minute dip. Come as a couple, family, or a group of 4 — same personal instructor, way better value.
Course structure — about 3 hours total
- Theory briefing + equipment orientation — 20–30 minutes. Safety principles, basic diving physiology, hand signals.
- Gear fitting and basic skills in shallow water — 30 minutes. Regulator breathing, ear equalization, buoyancy control.
- The dive in the Red Sea — about 80 minutes. Guided dive off the Eilat shore on the house coral reef. Max depth 6m, personal instructor with you the whole time.
- Debrief and your PADI Discover Scuba Diving digital wallet card — 20 minutes. Your PADI digital card is emailed to you within 24 hours.
Total: a professional PADI DSD course experience of about 3 hours for ₪450 — includes all gear, insurance and an international digital certification.

FAQ
- Do I need experience or a license? No – it’s designed for complete beginners.
- How deep do we go? Up to 6 meters, with your instructor beside you.
- Do I need my own gear? No – full equipment is included.
- Are there dangerous animals in Eilat? Moray eels do live in the reef, that’s true. They react when someone steps on them or puts a hand into a hole in the rock. On a dive you do neither — you don’t walk on the bottom and you don’t reach into crevices. I know where they sit, I lead the route around them, and if we meet one we move away. The incidents that make the news happen in shallow water, to people walking over rocks without a guide.
- I wear glasses, can I dive? Yes. Underwater everything looks about a third larger and closer, so up to about −3 you usually need nothing. Between −3 and −6 I have masks with corrective lenses and will fit you one. Beyond that, the strongest mask still gives a workable picture, or you can dive in your own soft contact lenses. Masks do not correct astigmatism, but at small values you will not notice it. If you have never worn lenses, the day of your first dive is not the day to start.
- Do you have a pool, or do we go straight into the sea? We start in the sea, in a shallow calm spot where you stand on the bottom. The required skills are done there, and we go deeper only when you feel comfortable. Anyone who learns in a pool still enters the sea for the first time eventually — just later, and without an instructor beside them.
Why 80 minutes, not 20?
Many operators in Eilat offer “scuba” for 20–30 minutes at rock-bottom prices.
