Introduction Dive

The Introduction Dive is a simple and safe way to experience scuba diving for the first time. All you need are basic skills like the ability to breathe independently underwater. During this experience, you’ll practice these skills in shallow water where you can stand and easily return to the surface if needed. Your instructor will teach you how to equalize your ears to adjust to pressure changes — it’s a simple skill, but it may take a few tries to get comfortable.

Throughout the dive, your instructor will guide you every step of the way. If you ever feel uncomfortable, they can assist you by holding part of your scuba gear, ensuring you feel safe and relaxed. With the instructor controlling everything, you can focus on enjoying the experience.

Discover Scuba Diving (DSD)

The Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) program is a more comprehensive experience. It includes both skill practice and an exciting dive excursion. During the DSD program, you’ll learn important skills that will allow you to dive more independently, such as:

• Clearing water from the regulator

• Recovering the regulator underwater

• Partial mask clearing

• Swimming practices

• Controlling neutral buoyancy

• Achieving positive buoyancy on the surface

These skills are practiced in shallow water, where you can always return to the surface if necessary. As you gain confidence, you’ll feel more independent, making the overall diving experience even more enjoyable.

DSD Excursion: Dive the Famous Underwater Restaurant

The fun doesn’t stop after the skills practice! Once you’re ready, you’ll embark on an exciting dive around the famous Underwater Restaurant — one of Eilat’s top dive sites. This location is known for its vibrant marine life and large schools of fish. You’ll also have the chance to see rare species like frogfish, blue-spotted stingrays, and crocodile fish.
