Description
Hello fellow PADI Rescue Divers,
Let’s talk about the kind of help we can provide to a patient who has been rescued from the water—or in any other emergency situation, even if it’s not diving-related.
The Emergency First Response (EFR) program gives you the essential theoretical knowledge and practical skills to act confidently and professionally in such cases, potentially saving someone’s life.
The course is divided into two main components:
• Theoretical Learning: You can study the materials at your own pace before the course begins.
• Practical Training: During this part, you’ll work with an EFR Instructor to master around nine key emergency care exercises in a classroom setting.
Once you’ve mastered the exercises, you’ll be put through surprise mock emergency scenarios, giving you a chance to apply everything you’ve learned in realistic situations.
With this knowledge and hands-on experience, you’ll be better prepared to respond to real-life emergencies and offer someone in need a real chance at recovery.
Additionally, if you’re planning to advance your diving career to Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, or Open Water Scuba Instructor, you must be a current EFR provider. The EFR certification is valid for two years and must be renewed to remain current.
So—are you ready to take the next step and become an Emergency First Response provider?
Let’s do it and make a difference. EFR in Eilat.
