If you’re looking for an unforgettable dive in Eilat Bay, we highly recommend checking out Sun Boat, one of the best dive sites in the area.

This amazing spot boasts the highest concentration of fish schools in the region. The fish are so dense and vibrant that it feels like you’re diving in the Maldives! It offers a rare combination of abundant marine life and the thrill of a shipwreck dive, all in one location.

The wreck lies about 350 meters from shore, and you’ll usually approach it on the surface. This part can be a bit physically demanding, so make sure you’re prepared. Alternatively, a dive scooter can be a game-changer, and we highly recommend using one. For the return journey, you’ll typically dive underwater, which is a more relaxing and scenic way to make your way back.

In addition to the wreck, the site features several sunken amphibious vehicles, now covered in beautiful corals. But what truly makes Sun Boat stand out are the large schools of fish, with an incredible variety of species. You might also get lucky and spot larger marine creatures like Atlantic groupers, manta rays, and schools of trevally.
